I've switched to Sky Broadband recently which could be installed after 3 attempts somehow. And now the connection keeps dropping out every 2-3 minutes and takes a while to reconnect. Every time I called Sky they keep telling me it's a known issue in the area and someone's working on it (I checked the sky services status, nothing wrong in the area).

The new TP link system is constantly good giving me above 35-40 mbps all across the house over wireless , the sky network is constantly still dropping out and am only getting between 0 and 20mbps over wireless this includes the 3 sky boosters we have which are supposed to help and keep the signal boosted. Yes you can still use the old hub, just make sure it connects to your Q box. Might be worth calling Sky if you've done all throubleshooting and they can investigate further.
